Happy Patriot's Day. Yes, there is a holiday called Patriot's Day. It's conveniently timed to coincide with the Boston Marathon. I decided to celebrate my patriotism with a 40-mile bike ride passing through such patriotic locations as the Minuteman Commuter Bike Trail, Lexington, Concord, and Walden Pond. It was a great ride and included a few Patriot's Day surprises like a little boy dressed as a Minuteman walking on the Minuteman Trail playing a flute surprisingly well and a Handicap Bus painted gray with New England Patriots logos all over it blasting some sort of Patriots them song. I love Boston.

here. These are a few of my favorites:

I envy your day! (A tip from a native - I bet the boy was playing a fife, as in fife and drum corps. And if you say he played the fife wicked good you'll sound like a native, too.)
