While the winter here in Boston is a fairly mild one, I still wish it was a little bit (Ok, a lot) warmer. Today I've found myself longing for the night swims across Walden pond that made up most of my life here in Boston during the month of August. I miss the warm water of Walden, the cool summer night breeze, the light of the full moon, the thousands of stars in the sky, and the lights and sounds of the commuter train rushing past and reflecting off the black water. Maybe a mild winter means summer will come early this year, but I kind of doubt it.
Today my midterm studying continues. It's getting old and I can't take much more of it.
The song of the day today is a little embarrassing, but I'm going to post it anyways. I tried to come up with a different song to post today, but I haven't listened to anything else for the past few days so I guess I have no choice. I went to see the Lion King musical last week and it was pretty incredible, and now I've been listening to the song "They Live in You" all day. I don't know if you'll want to go listen to it, but if you do you can find it here.

NO JOKE, I was seriously thinking TODAY about how I want to swim in Walden Pond and wish it were June. I think the fake sunshine today and ugly brown grass in Boston is doing it to us. Yuck.
hooray for linking!
