Peanut Butter Twix

So I just took a little trip to the CVS to stock up on some candy and water to get me through my Monday evening 7-11pm midterm study block. Most of my CVS trips end in one of two purchases: a Peanut Butter Twix or a Nantucket Nectars Orange Mango juice. This trip ended in the former. However, the decision was made more difficult than usual due to a disturbing new revelation.

You probably think I'm about to say something about the fact that the Peanut Butter Twix bar is the most unhealthy bar on the market. You're wrong. I've known that fact for year, and it has yet to deter me. This is worse. Mars decided that it would be prudent to decrease the size of the Twix bar by about a centimeter. Needless to say, I am a little perturbed by this decision and will probably be forced into more frequently purchasing the larger King Size version of the candy bar. So, in the end, this decision by Mars will have one of two effects on me: (1) Increase my life expectancy by about 5 years due to me eating slightly less of the most unhealthy candy bar in the world or (2) Decrease my life expectancy by about 15 years and doubling my monthly candy bar expenditure by forcing me to purchase the King Size bars. Either way, I am not going to be happy about this.

Also, I'm back into midterms this week (Wednesday and Thursday mornings), so if any of you want to do anything to lower my stress level, have at it. Fortunately, spring break begins the moment midterms end, so there is an extremely bright light at the end of this tunnel.

The song of the day is "All I Need" a Radiohead song performed by my favorite concert pianist Christopher O'Riley on his newest album Out of My Hands. Check it out on lala.

Tim,

I totally remember your love affair with the peanut butter Twix. If I recall correctly, there was always a bulk pack of them hidden in one of the cupboards of the Plaid lab. I didn't know that you were still on it. My relationship with candy is usually more of a fling (I just got over Reese's Peanut Butter Cups). Good luck with the five years more you have to live!

i like the song. i think that maybe you need to start linking URLs to these song recommendations you give so I don't have to Google search them. Wow, I am lazy.
